The 'Rotary Youth Trust for Luton' is an award-making trust. It is the policy of the trustees to make awards to young people within the objects as defined in the Deed of Settlement which is " the provision of financial assistance and other such charitable support as the trustees shall from time to time think fit for the benefit of young people between the ages of 14 and 22 living, working or attending an educational establishment within the Borough of Luton". Please note that the Trust does not fund groups or expeditions. Awards are made at regular intervals during the year and the total level of awards will not exceed the interest from investments received, and it may not be possible to make awards to all individuals within its funding priorities. All applicants must complete an application form. There is no deadline for applications and all will be acknowledged. Trustees
meet regularly during the year and applications are usually processed
within four months. All successful applicants will be notified and will
be expected to provide the necessary details of their requirements, for
which they are seeking an award. To comply with the Data Protection Act 1998, applicants are required to consent to the use of personal data supplied by them in the processing and review of their application by the 'Rotary Youth Trust for Luton'. A list of recent grants made is available in the Financial statement. |
